Why is the clutch not completely disengaged and the solution

Due to various reasons, the clutch system may experience various malfunctions. In order to better understand and respond to these faults, we mainly classify them into the following categories, and conduct detailed analysis and discussion of solutions for each type of fault:
①. vibration and noise
②. Incomplete separation
③. Clutch slippage
④. Trembling when combined
⑤. Parts wear
⑥. Excessive pedal force
Previously, we have discussed the causes of noise and vibration in the clutch. Now, we will delve into the issue of incomplete clutch disengagement. The main reasons for incomplete clutch disengagement are as follows:
1、 The guide bearing at the front end of the first shaft of the transmission shaft has worn out in the flywheel hole. The wear of the guide bearing can cause radial runout of the first shaft of the transmission or prevent the bearing from rotating freely. Both of these consequences can result in the first shaft of the transmission continuing to rotate when the clutch is disengaged, creating the illusion that the clutch is not disengaged.
2、 Driven disk factor
Passive component failure: This is usually caused by component failure, operational errors, or improper installation techniques resulting in damage or deformation of the driven component, such as the tilting of the first shaft of the transmission, which in turn causes the clutch driven hub to be unable to slide smoothly on the spline of the first shaft of the transmission.
Adhesive bonding of the spline of the driven hub: The movement of the spline of the driven hub on the spline shaft becomes inflexible, resulting in obstruction of movement. Specifically, although the clutch pressure plate has separated, the driven plate is difficult to detach from the flywheel surface, causing the first shaft of the transmission to continue rotating. This may be caused by rusting, dirt contamination, improper fit of the spline mating surface, or defects such as scratches, burrs, and burrs on the spline shaft.
Adhesion between the friction surface of the driven disc and the surface of the flywheel or pressure plate: If the clutch is not used for a long time, the friction material may bond with the cast iron parts of the mating parts due to chemical rusting, causing the driven disc to adhere to the surface of the flywheel or pressure plate. This type of problem is often related to climate conditions.
3、 Incorrect installation or excessive deformation of clutch cover assembly
After installing the clutch cover assembly onto the flywheel surface, if the installation method is incorrect, it can cause the cover to twist, resulting in uneven lift of the pressure plate and causing it to tilt. This kind of skewing will affect the separation effect of the clutch, resulting in incomplete separation. At the same time, if the combination of clutch cover and friction plate is not properly matched, the problem of uneven pressure plate lift can also occur. In addition, if the stiffness of the clutch cover is insufficient, excessive deformation is likely to occur during separation, which can also cause the separation stroke to exceed the normal range, thereby affecting the complete separation of the clutch.
